A 'GRAND' time had by all
The freemasons of Wessex Lodge 5297 in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire have raised a £1000 for Shepherds Down School at Compton, Winchester.
The money was raised by a skittles match against their daughter lodge, the Lodge of Chivalry, in February this year, collections at Lodge meetings, and culminated in a well supported quiz night in April, supported by brethren from Rose Window Lodge 7839 & Docendo Discimus Lodge 7818, who entered teams.
The Friends of Shepherds Down Association also entered a team and while they did not win the quiz, they were thrilled to take away a cheque for a Grand.
The cheque for £1000 was presented to FOSDA by the Worshipful Master W.Bro.Brian Phillips.
